Volunteer Doberman RescueVolunteer Doberman rescue was founded by a group of Doberman lovers in the Middle Tennessee area. We rescue dobermans in need. We rescue from high kill shelters and also owner surrenders. Our organization was formed as it was realized that there was a need for another "no-time-limit" animal shelter in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not euthanize unless it is deemed as humane means to end their suffering. Volunteers for Animal Protection, Inc.Volunteers for Animal Protection, Inc is a non-profit no-kill animal welfare organization that rescues and places abandoned, abused, and neglected cats and dogs into permanent loving homes. We have a small facility that we use to evaluate animals before they move to a foster or adoptive home. Most of our animals live in foster homes and come to adoption days on the weekends. The foster homes provide food, water and love to the animals until they are adopted. We spay/neuter all of our animals before they are adopted to families. Volunteers for Animal WelfareVolunteers For Animal Welfare, Inc. is a no-kill organization dedicated to preventing cruelty to animals; provide shelter, medical care and homes for homeless and/or neglected and abused animals, educating the general public about animal behavior, care and responsibility, including but not limited to, the importance of spaying and neutering. We’re an all volunteer, non-profit organization that does not receive funding from any governmental agency. Our funding comes exclusively from private donations and fundraising events. All donations are used to provide medical care for the sick/injured pets, to spay and neuter, heartworm testing for dogs, FIV/Leukemia testing for cats, all vaccines and necessary medications for all rescued animals before finding new suitable homes for them. We do not have a shelter. All rescued animals are temporarily kept in foster care homes of our volunteers. We do not limit our help to any particular county or area. We have volunteers in both Ohio and Indiana. We always welcome any offer for donations of time, supplies such as food, crates, toys, kennels etc. or money to help us continue with our efforts.
