Pet Orphans Of Southern CaliforniaPet Orphans Of Southern California is one of the oldest active humane organizations in the Greater Los Angeles area with a private shelter. At our shelter facility located in Van Nuys, California, an average of 60 dogs and 30 cats are housed until they can be placed with new guardians. Heaven on Earth Society for AnimalsHeaven on Earth Society for Animals (HESA) was formed to draw attention and support to those homeless animals that are often overlooked by the community due to their low potential for adoption. We believe these feral, sick and elderly animals deserve a better quality of life just as much as friendly, healthy animals. The Heaven on Earth Animal Shelter was established as a no-kill facility that provides both temporary and permanent shelter and care for homeless animals. Heaven on Earth has served over 400 homeless animals in less than 4 years.
