Fondas FoundlingsWe have been rescuing homeless cats and kittens in the central Pennsylvania region for nearly six (6) years and were involved in three major rescues in 2005. In January thirteen feral cats were trapped at the Toftrees Resort when management wanted the colony removed. In February 121 cats were rescued over a 6 week period from a home in Spring Mills and in May 59 cats were rescued from a home in only one week. To date Fonda’s Foundlings have rescued 452 cats and kittens, placed 381 in loving homes and have 71 awaiting adoption. Most of the available cats are quite friendly and ready to go to their forever home.
