Foster Animal NetworkThe first viable foster program in Asheville, we are wholly devoted to the placement of lost, stray, neglected and abandoned animals. The Foster Animal Network started out helping many different animals, but is now cat specific due to a reduction in our volunteer force. Ashland/Bayfield Area Animal ControlWe're a relatively small facility usually housing ~15-20 cats and ~10 dogs. There are lots of wonderful things about our facility; two being that we tend to get a lot of smaller dogs and we almost always have kittens! Lots of the animals on our page are from private homes that have either privately rescued these animals or, due to extenuating circumstaces, can no longer keep them.
