Caring Hearts is an all volunteer, non profit organization dedicated to finding homes for cats and kittens. We have wonderful kittens and cats waiting for their forever homes, and we have kittens and cats suitable for barn homes available for a donation. We are also involved in trapping, spaying/neutering, and releasing feral cats.
All of our cats live in foster homes until they are fortunate enough to be adopted. Many of our cats are placed through various veterinarians' offices who partner with us. Our cats and kittens can be visited in their foster homes and at several local veterinarians' offices and at Petsmart adoption events.

Welcome to Alaska's No-Kill animal sanctuary for adoptable animals. No kill does NOT mean we are a warehouse for aging animals. It does mean that we will not kill an animal because we have not found them a home yet. We are forming a coalition of City Shelters and reputable rescue groups across this State. All members are working to stop the killing of adoptable animals statewide by 2011

Twisted Oaks Animal Rescue, the Exotic Division of the Animal Protection Coalition, is a 501(c)3 not for profit Organization. It is our mission to provide a temporary rest stop for unwanted, abused or neglected animals. Although we try to never turn away an animal in need, our main areas of focus are Guinea Pigs, goats, pigs, llamas, horses, sheep and fowl. We are a private home in Southwestern Michigan, and we provide our own time and resources for shelter, quality food, training and rehabilitation to care for animals in need of a safe haven. We operate soley on donations, and any funds received go towards food, medical needs, bedding, and anything else involved in animal care.
Our goal is to end the cycle of abuse and neglect which is all to often found with "livestock". We strive to find PERMANENT placement where these animals will be treated like members of the family, are loved & nurtured for the duration of their lives. If you have room in your heart and your home, please consider adopting or sponsoring an animal who needs a "second chance".

Washington Akita Group, Inc. (WAG) is a small group of concerned Akita people dedicated to the rescue and placement of orphaned Akitas in Eastern and Central Washington State (other areas in the Pacific Northwest as foster or kennel space allows). Our primary mission is to find good homes for abandoned Akitas, most coming from local animal shelters after being found as strays or given up to shelters by their owners. We DO NOT take dogs directly from an owner except under extraordinary conditions. We help transition the dogs into their new homes by providing proper nutrition, veterinary care, grooming, socialization and love before placement. We offer support for Akita owners and education for our communities about the Akita as a breed and the need for responsible dog ownership.

All of these chihuahuas are received from commercial kennels, completely vetted with spay/neuter, dental, rabies and shots; and socialized as much as possible before adopting to a loving forever home. They need lots of love and understanding. Most of these dogs will not handle small children's excitement or energy level. All of our adoptees come with an unconditional return policy. I have new ones coming in as the others get adopted so keep watching for just the right baby for you! Any baby over 9 yrs old is labeled a senior but a chihuahua can have a life span of around 16 or so years. I look for the ideal home for each one's personality and needs. Ideal usually includes a fenced in yard, no small children, and a person with patience and understanding. Occassionally exceptions are made based on the individual dog and situation.
