Riverlands SPCAOur Mission The Riverlands SPCA is dedicated to eliminating animal suffering, specifically cats and dogs. We are dedicated to eliminating pet overpopulation. We strongly urge every pet owner to spay and/or neuter their pet(s). We support legislation intent on eliminating cruelty to animals. Also, we supports laws that prohibit animal fighting, especially dog fighting. We work to reduce the number of cats living in feral cat colonies by capture, spay, and release. We investigate animal cruelty allegations and strongly support the prosecution of offenders. We rescue animals that are abandoned, injured, abused, or just homeless. Our members toil daily to find a suitable companion for all of our resident animals. At present, we do not own or operate a facility. Our resident animals live in foster homes, veterinarian's offices, or professional kennels.
