Lehigh County Humane SocietyThe Lehigh County Humane Society is a non-profit, charitable organization, which means all gifts to the shelter are tax deductible. The shelter's goal is to reunite lost pets with their owners and to adopt out homeless pets into a new, loving, forever home. We provide a temporary home until a permanent one can be found. We also provide such services as a low cost spay/neuter clinic, vaccination clinics twice a year, education to the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets, and education on proper care of your pets. All Terrier Rescue Hunters Crossing, Inc.All Terrier Rescue Hunters Crossing is a 501c3 registered non profit organization and was initially formed as a rescue for Scottish Terriers. Soon all types of terriers were welcomed as their special needs were a specialty of the Mother/Daughter team of Jeri and Samantha Miller. Today, all breeds of dogs are assisted at ATRHC. ATRHC takes in shelter dogs, owner releases and vet referrals on a regular basis. Each dog is evaluated and work begins immediately with those that need physical as well as behavioral rehabilitation. When a dog is ready for adoption every effort is made to inform the new adopter fully in regard to the dog's present and past behavior or medical conditions. ATRHC believes in being totally honest about each dog's strengths and weaknesses. We do not "sugar-coat" our write ups on line or promise perfect behavior.
