Volunteers for Animal Protection, Inc.Volunteers for Animal Protection, Inc is a non-profit no-kill animal welfare organization that rescues and places abandoned, abused, and neglected cats and dogs into permanent loving homes. We have a small facility that we use to evaluate animals before they move to a foster or adoptive home. Most of our animals live in foster homes and come to adoption days on the weekends. Twyla's FriendsTwyla's Friends is a non-profit animal adoption organization. We pick up lost and/or abandoned animals, have their medical needs attended to, and look for a caring family to foster these precious dogs until we're able to place them in a permanent home. Before placing an animal up for adoption, Twyla's Friends holds the dog for seven days, calls all area vets, and put up signs to alert an owner that their dog has been found. K-9 CorralK-9 Corral is a non-profit organization which is dedicated to rescuing dogs and placing them in loving homes. The main focus of our program is spay or neuter of every animal prior to placement. We are dedicated in our efforts to save dogs and puppies from pounds when their time is up and they would otherwise be euthanized, usually at 72 hours. For that reason, we do not accept unwanted dogs from the public unless we already have a home waiting for a particular breed. K-9 Corral is a foster program which allows us to learn about a dog's characteristics and temperament. This helps us to make a good match with an adoptive family.
