Animal Rights for LifeANIMAL RIGHTS FOR LIFE (ARFL), a Non-Profit Organization founded in 1985 by Gloria Trelles Ripple, is dedicated to the welfare and placement of COMPANION animals. Each rescued animal by ARFL's dedicated volunteers receives a vet check, all vaccines, de-worming, de-fleaing and spay/neuter. Dogs are heartworm tested and cats are FeLV/FIV tested. Many have required medical attention, AND have not been denied, such as heartworm treatments and surgeries. We operate out of the pockets of our members and raffles that we sponsor, along with a few small donations made by some of the people who adopt our pets. ARFL's policy is that no animal should ever be killed for want of a good home. Mommy Cat Pet RescueUnfortunately, pregnant and Mother cats are abandoned on streets and at shelters every day. Compounding a Mother cat’s own fear and confusion at losing her home and entering a strange and scary place is her fear for her children. That’s where MommyCat comes in. We rescue pregnant and Mother cats with kittens from shelters, their health is checked by one of our network veterinarians, we bring them into a warm and safe environment, we love them, feed them premium kitten food, and then when the babies are nine weeks old we put them all into adoption.
