MAGNOLIA SETTER RESCUEMagnolia Setter Rescue works in conjunction with the Florida All-Setter Rescue. We are a network of volunteers who protect and promote the Setter breeds (Gordon, Irish, English, and Irish Red & White). Our mission, as Setter fanciers, is to strive to take care of our Setter friends who unfortunately, from time to time, get placed in the wrong home, are lost, are unwanted because they no longer fit the family setting for one reason or another, or have to be given up by their owners who can no longer care for them for one reason or another. Our foster families take these dogs into their homes, evaluate and get them ready for rehoming. Huntingdon County Humane SocietyThe shelter is in DESPERATE need of volunteers! We need to find some volunteers willing to come every week to the shelter to walk dogs, and socialize with the cats. Even if you can only give 1 hour a week - that would be a big help! It helps the animals by giving them exercise and socialization skills. They are not as timid to potential adopters if they are used to people. Please help give some much needed attention to these poor animals.
