Wisconsin Chihuahua Rescue, Inc.We, at Wisconsin Chihuahua Rescue, do promise to take owner-surrendered, stray, abandoned, shelter or other homeless dogs, into our care at our discretion. No dogs will be accepted who are aggressive, or, whom we feel will cause harm to their new family or another animal. All dogs in our care will be evaluated as to temperament and health and all will be given a combination vaccine, rabies vaccine, and heartworm test and will be spayed or neutered. All Wisconsin Chihuahua Rescue dogs will be given every attention while in our care. Our goal is to unite these dogs with a family whom they will live with for the rest of their lives. We, at Wisconsin Chihuahua Rescue, do promise to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering so as to reduce the occurrence of abandoned dogs in the state of Wisconsin. We do not work with breeders and do not promote the buying and selling of animals through any source other than a humane society or breed rescue group. Central States Horse Rescue & SanctuaryCentral States Horse Rescue was founded in 1995. Back then we were "Wisconsin Horse Rescue". We have grown quickly over the years. We have participated in helping many abused and/or neglected horses in these short years. "Central States Horse Rescue" was originally self funded, but we soon discovered that expansion required funding through donations. Thus we became a not-for-profit organization. We are a PRIVATE rescue center, NOT a 501c3, non-profit. However ALL donations are used entirely for the horses. No one receives a salary for this effort. However, our priorities dictate our main goal is to help needy horses, not to do fundraising. Our goal is to intervene in cases of abuse and neglect, purchase horses destined for slaughter, and to offer them sanctuary. With this in mind we humbly ask for your kind donations, both large and small. Ferret DenThe Ferret Den is dedicated to the rescue of unwanted and abandoned ferrets from owners, humane societies and all other sources, in order that they may be placed in new homes if after evaluation they are determined to be adoptable. We will provide for those animals which are received but after evaluation are deemed not adoptable. Ferrets adopted through us will be pets and will never be used for breeding or for experimental purposes under any circumstances. Ferrets will, after all instances, be spayed or neutered prior to adoption if the animal was not previously spayed or neutered. New owners will be asked to sign an adoption agreement which will spell out specific conditions of adoption before adoption is permitted. Adoption fees are dependent upon the age and health of the ferret.
