Silent MeowOur Mission: The Silent Meow is a small rescue group that has one objective in mind - To save the lives of as many pets as we can. BARK-Belleville Area Rescue of K-9sBARK is an all-breed rescue organization. We are based out of Belleville, IL, which is about 20 minutes east of St. Louis, MO. As a rescue group, we have no official "shelter" facility. BARK is 100% volunteers. Most work full time, others are going to college. Still, we all make time to save these little (and sometimes big!) lives. We exist solely on donations, as we are an IRS 501(c)3 non-profit organization (donations are tax-deductible). We are fully licensed by the state, and we are always looking for people to help our organization and the animals! We are a network of foster homes who teach and take care of our animals until they can find their forever homes.
