Crossroads Animal Rescue, Inc.Crossroads Animal Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit organization for rescued animals. We work very closely with Crossroads Foundation, Inc.and their at risk teen programs. The foundation is located on a 10-acre wooded farm where they deliver life skills programs to teens. Many of our rescued animals take part in those programs, and some live in foster homes. Jr. Humane SocietyThe Junior Humane Society is a non-profit, all volunteer, animal rescue group. For the past 18 years, we have taken in owner released pets so they won't be taken to the pound/animal shelter. All animals waiting for adoption are placed in foster homes. Before placing the animal in a permanent home we provide all necessary vet care, including but not limited to shots, spaying and neutering. We also offer a low cost Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) to local rescue groups and people who have multiple animals, or need financial assistance.
