Fuzzybutt RescueSo now I rescue dogs/puppies when I can from various high intake shelters or puppy mill auctions to give them a much better chance of finding a home. I do not take in cats/kittens at this time. I also do not currently take in owner surrenders, that may change someday. I feel those animals have homes and are usually not in danger of being euthanized like shelter dogs are. Pet Over-Population Prevention Advocates, Inc.POPPA, Inc., Pet Over-Population Prevention Advocates, is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation working to reduce the number of homeless companion animals in Oregon by offering a statewide spay/neuter referral and assistance service. The money for these services is raised through individual donations and through the sale of donated plant material at Recycled Gardens, POPPA, Inc.'s fund-raising division located in Hillsboro, OR. We currently provide direct financial assistance to approximately 62 animals per week at a cost of $2000.
