ELMIRA CAT RESCUEElmira Cat Rescue is a grassroots, volunteer organization concerned with the overpopulation of abandoned cats trying to survive on our streets and surrounding rural roads. Our purpose is to work locally to rescue abandoned and neglected cats and help stop needless suffering. We do this through public education and a health and spay-neuter program. There is no paid staff. Our funding comes from adoptions, volunteer fund-raising events and private donations. There is no government or township assistance. Paradise FoundParadise Found is a registered charity (# 872626015RR0001) that is dedicated to helping dogs in need of loving homes. Most our rescues are from pounds and neglective situations where the dogs were going to be euthanized or sent for animal research. The dogs at the shelter live in a home with no crates and a very loving environment. They are served a stew of meat, fruits and vegetables.
