Animal Rescue League Ltd.The ARL is a small, non profit animal shelter that provides care to homeless animals until they can be adopted into loving forever homes. The ARL also offers euthanasia and crematorium services, including private cremation. The city of Saint John contracts the ARL to perform animal control for the city. The shelter is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors who employ an Executive Director to manage the shelter. Pleasant Valley Heritage FarmWe are a not for profit shelter for abused and unwanted farm animals. We attempt to find suitable homes for unwanted and abused farm animals, and keep the ones we can not place at the farm. Animals with suitable personalities are used in our Pet therapy program which is one of our many outreach programs.
