FORGOTTEN ONES CAT ADOPTION is a non-profit, no kill, humane, volunteer cat rescue, dedicated to rescuing cats scheduled to die in a high kill, small animal control shelter, where 1,000 or more healthy cats die every year, all because they have no where else to go, and we are often their last hope. Municipal pounds only have to keep cats 72 hours before they are destroyed or sold for research. It is less expensive to euthanize than try to keep them alive before they find their forever home, and it is often a lack of space that determines their fate, and most never get a second chance.
