American Eskimo Dog RescueThe American Eskimo Dog Rescue is a local chapter of Heartbandits, a national volunteer organization that is dedicated to finding the “right� home for Eskies who are lost, abandoned or abused. We care for dogs of every age group. When rescued, our Eskies are vet checked, given necessary vaccinations and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Our Eskies reside with their volunteer foster family and are evaluated for temperament, training and behavior issues. If we do not have an Eskie that meets your needs, we may know of Eskies in other rescues/shelters and will gladly share that information. Potential adopters are screened to ensure that their lifestyle and home are right for each individual dog. A home visit and follow-up are required to ensure that the placement is appropriate.
