Campbell County Humane SocietyWe are a not for profit agency dedicated to placing animals before they are sent to the local shelter. We are not affiliated with the Gillette City/County Shelter. We are run completely by donations and always appreciate any kind of donation wether it be food, supplies, or a monetary donation. At present we do not have a shelter but that is our main goal and we are working toward it day by day We are a Foster program only and our listed pets are either in foster care or with their owners who must place them. City/County Animal ShelterAnimal Control is composed of the Animal Control Supervisor, three Animal Control Officers, and one full-time Animal Shelter Assistant. This division of the Police Department enforces the City's ordinances related to animal control, which includes capturing animals running at-large & responding to calls concerning sick, injured, abandoned, lost, or dead animals. Staff handle bite cases, calls concerned with impoundments, destruction of animals infected with rabies, & related calls dealing with nuisances involving animals. All animals impounded by the Campbell County Animal Control are also housed at this shelter.950 W.
