Cascade Ferret Network

The Cascade Ferret Network (CFN), a 501(C)(3) tax exempt corporation, is different from traditional ferret shelters: instead of housing the ferrets in a single place, the CFN depends upon a network of qualified foster homes, each of which cares for only a few ferrets at a time. The Cascade Ferret Network provides humane care and adoption opportunities for rescued, abandoned, abused, or otherwise homeless domestic ferrets. Loving temporary or permanent homes are provided by a network of qualified foster parents until an adoption opportunity matches a ferret with a good home. The CFN provides advice, referrals and volunteer opportunities.

Col. Potter Cairn Terrier Rescue Network - North West

We are NOT A SHELTER with a single physical location. Instead, we are a NATIONAL network of volunteers working to help re-home Cairns in need. We began as a small internet community of people trying to help one of their members through the heartache of losing a little Cairn named Col. Potter. In the weeks that followed that simple process of showing care and support, a national Cairn terrier rescue was born. It filled a void to serve a wonderful, randomly protected, and sometimes misunderstood breed. Cairns can have every kind of personality, from laid back to intensely lively; most fall somewhere in between. Our rescue attracts caring foster homes who will provide guidance and love; sometimes for the first time in a rescued Cairns life. Our foster homes also provide an honest, realistic evaluation of each Cairns personality, so an approved applicant can expect to be matched with a Cairn whose traits and behaviors fit their lifestyle. At present, Col. Potter has just under 200 foster homes all over the United States.

Cornish and Devon Rex Rescue NW, Sphynx Too

Our goal is to keep cornish rex, devon rex and sphynx cats out of kill shelters. We work with other rescue groups, humane societies, pet owners, veterinarians, etc. to locate cats in need so we can place them in foster homes. At the foster homes they receive any necessary medical care, spay/neutering, vaccines and social rehabilitation. When ready they are adopted into loving families. We charge an adoption fee for each cat to help pay for our medical costs and food and litter. We accept donations of cash or food or litter. All donations are tax deductible.

Golden Bond Rescue of Oregon

Golden Bond Rescue of Oregon, Inc. is a volunteer run, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of Golden Retrievers. Our mission is to find caring, adoptive homes for Goldens in need and to educate the public to prevent the homeless Goldens of the future. Goldens in need of new homes come from a variety of circumstances. Some come to us due to compelling family situations such as death, divorce, family illness, relocation or economic hardship. Other Goldens are released to rescue because of behavior problems due to lack of exercise and poor understanding of the needs of the breed. Since our beginnings in 1990, we have successfully placed over 1000 Goldens with new loving families.
