We are an all volunteer, 501 c (3) not for profit organization, licensed by the state of Missouri. Since Warren County is still a mostly rural area, it has become a dumping ground for unwanted pets from nearby urban counties. Homeward Bound Humane SocietyWe are a Missouri not-for-profit corporation, an IRS 501(C)(3) charitable organization, and we are state licensed. We are an entirely volunteer group working for the welfare of unwanted and/or neglected pets. We do not have a facility, we have a network of foster homes for the placement of animals awaiting their forever homes. As we are a volunteer organization, we are always very appreciative of any monetary donations.
