Golden Retriever Rescue RangersWe rescue puppies and adults from shelters and from the streets. When animals are placed in their new home they will be examined by a licensed veterinarian approved by that shelter. When dogs are placed they will be heartworm negative, treated for common internal parasites (worms), neutered or spayed, bathed and/or flea-dipped if necessary, vaccinated: DHLPP; (Bordetella if necessary, from a shelter) Rabies vaccine/tag if over 6 months of age, ready to start on heartworm preventative and flea prevention. Raymore Animal ControlSharon McKinney has been the Animal Control Officer in Raymore for almost 14 years and has placed several hundred animals into new homes. Due to an illness in the family, she has had to take a different road in the field of veterinary medicine. She is now working on becoming a licensed veterinary technologist through the American Veterinary Medical Association, and will pursue a degree in veterinary medicine in the future.1023 S. Raymore Police Department Animal ControlWe are a city run animal shelter that is licensed through the State of Missouri. We have very limited space, so we are not able to take owner relinquished animals. We have an excellent adoption program, work with rescue groups, but occasionally we have to euthanize.
