Portageville Animal ShelterWe are just a city shelter, run by the Animal Control Officer. We are a small shelter and therefore we don't have the space to keep more than a few animals at one time. We are finally getting some help from a volunteer to get our animals on Petfinder.com. We hope this will help us to adopt out more of the animals. Precious Pets Animal RescueWe are a very small group of animal lovers who hate to see precious loving animals go unwanted and uncared for. We take animals from kill shelters and other places where they may have been neglected or abused and make them well and happy so they might find a good loving home. We do not have a shelter or a kennel. Each animal is placed in one of our foster homes and they are vetted and get all the medical care needed to make them healthy for adoption. Our funds come strictly from donations and fund raisers. Right now we are in need of funds and also more foster homes so we can save more animals.
