Kitty Haven is a no-kill, non-profit feline rescue group that became incorporated with the State of Michigan on September 29, 2000. We are a state and federal 501c3 charitable organization. We rescue, sterilize, provide veterinary care for, and make every attempt to find forever home for our healthy and friendly cats and kittens. We care for many pregnant and nursing mothers, but do everything in our power to prevent fertility of all other cats we encounter. Kitty Haven is committed to helping reduce the pet overpopulation problem, and is committed to finding loving homes for the cats in our care.

We place animals of all ages. We do not have a shelter and rely on a network of foster homes. We are unpaid volunteers and rely on donations to help keep us going. We are seeking volunteers, foster homes and donations of any kind. Donations needed include monetary, dog and cat food, litter, dog and cat beds, crates, carriers, etc.

We are a veterinary hospital that accepts kittens who, for one reason or other, are not able to be cared for by their mothers. Often times the mothers have been hit by cars. A few of our dedicated staff take these kittens home and bottle feed them every 2-6 hours around the clock depending on the age of the kittens. If you have found a cat or kitten that is older, please call and we can supply you with a list of rescue groups more equipped to take them on.
