Friends of the ShelterFriends of the Shelter is a nonprofit 501c3 organization and basically a group of about 5-6 individuals who live in Simpson County and saw a need (and have seen a need for many years) for a new shelter and so we applied for a state grant and got it!! Now we are hoping to provide support for the new animal shelter. Last Chance Chi RescueLast Chance Chi Rescue is a division of Little Feet Rest & Rescue, Inc., a 501(c)3 Rescue organization. Last Chance is not your "normal" rescue. As our name implies, most of the furkids that come into our care had no other options. Maine Coon RescueWe are a network of volunteers who share one Love - Our Beloved Maine Coon - and One Great, Big vision: to rescue abused, abandoned and homeless Maine Coon Cats whether registered or not, and to assist in assuring that they are placed in carefully screened forever homes where they will spend the rest of their lives being spoiled, as we all know they deserve to be! All of our cats are listed on our 9 Petfinder Sites - however, they are in foster care or shelters all over the United States. Please carefully look next to the cat's name for the State, and read the description to find where the cat is currently located. Remember, if you see a cat on our list you'd really like, we can assist you with transport within a reasonable distance.
