CDT is a small privately ran rescue group focused on educating the Public, Humane Societies & Animal Control agencies on Breed traits,Rescuing, Re homing, Handling & Training of the breed commonly know as the PIT Bull dog. * We aid to help relive the suffering of neglected pit bull dogs, * Support spaying & neutering. * Support & curently active in rehoming needy Pit Bull dogs into RESPONSIBLE homes. * We are aggressively active against dog fighting or any other inhumane act brought against the Pit Bulldog. We believe, with proper education, handling, knowledge & awareness of this breed type we will be successful in raising the number of responsible owners of this breed type. *Adoption donations are $125.00 adonation to help alleviate part of the cost to have the animal vetted & shelterd during its stay in rescue. Donations can be made to our veterinary clinic ( ask for details)

We operate as a not-for-profit organization ( we are currently working on our 501(c) 3 status ) dedicated to placing solid temperamented GSD's and giving them a second chance to serve. We are not affiliated with any other GSD Rescue in INDIANA. The philosophy of this rescue is soley that of Melody Miller and of no other. Melody has taken great pride in placing non-aggressive dogs that have been thoroughly temperament tested. Children are our first and foremost concern when placing these dogs.

We are an animal control facility as well as an animal shelter. The mission of the Department is to work in partnership with the community to address problems associated with pet overpopulation, to promote responsible pet ownership and to enhance the health and safety of the community through the adoption of pets and the enforcement of ordinances and laws regarding animal-related issues.
