Bond County Adopt-A-PetWe started Bond County Adopt-A-Pet in June of 1992. Our board members are: Oliver Stowe, DVM, Susan Chandler, Debbie Haughland and Jim and Mary Price. Attorney William Dillow donated all his legal fees and filing fees to help get us started. Thanks to him and our board members, we have saved 2993 animals since we started. BOND COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETYThe Bond County Humane Society (BCHS) exists to provide temporary sanctuary for unwanted, lost and neglected animals for ultimate placement in loving and responsible homes. BCHS is a nonprofit charitable organization committed to promote animal welfare through education and to actively encourage pet population reduction. We are dedicated to creating, in Bond County, an environment that enhances awareness of homeless animals and support for the humane treatment of these animals. BCHS does not receive funding assistance from the city, county, state or any other organization.
