Effingham County Animal Control ShelterThe pets at our shelter are both strays and owner turn-ins. Strays must be kept a minimum of 3 days before they are available for adoption. Adoption fee is $25 for dogs and cats. Any pet adopted must be spayed/neutered at the adoptor's expense.
