Santa Barbara County Animal Shelter - SANTA MARIA SHELTERWe care for stray and homeless animals, including cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, rabbits and other animals such as chickens, guinea pigs or iguanas. We always hope the family will come to reclaim their lost pet, but is not, we work to find a loving new family for them. While the animals stay with us, we provide a warm place to sleep, good food and keep them safe from dangers such as cars. We ensure that dogs are current on their rabies vaccinaton and license. At Animal Services, our goal is to ensure that all the animals in our County have a safe place to live. We work hard to find loving homes for the many dogs, cats, rabbits and other animals that come into our care.
