APET Rescue & Kennels Inc.A-PET is strictly a no-kill, rescue shelter! Once an animal comes through our doors, it stays with us until an appropriate home is found for that animal. A-PET boasts over 270 successful adoptions! We never "return" or release an animal to any Animal Control Facility nor do we ever turn an animal over to any other organization that participates in euthanasia. A-PET accepts animals on a space available basis giving priority to the rescue and care of lost, injured, abandoned and/or stray animals from Edwards Animal Control as well as PCS Surrenders. PCS surrenders are those animals that come from military members who have Deployment or PCS Orders and are unable to continue properly caring for their pet(s) due to the Air Force Mission.615 S.
