Our Shelter facility cares for lost, stray, and injured animals, as well as for animals surrendered by their owners. Our full-service Veterinary Clinic provides medical and dental care, including low-cost spay/neuter services. Our Cruelty and Rescue service is available to rescue sick or injured stray animals 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for all of Washtenaw County.

The Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan handles between 2,500-3,500 animals per year. In spite of this over whelming number, we try to ensure that every animals leaving the shelther is healthy.

Michigan Rabbit Rescue is is a not-for-profit organization committed to finding loving, permanent homes for surrendered and abandoned domestic rabbits and educating the public on the proper care of pet rabbits. We work closely with other animal welfare groups with the goal of eliminating euthanasia of healthy domestic rabbits due to lack of shelter space.

We are Bloomfield Township Animal Welfare. We are a divison of Bloomfield Township Police Dept, and we have 4 sworn officers in our divison. We cover aprox 30 square miles with a least 2 officers on the road 7days a week 365 days a year. We handle everthing from domestic animals to wildlife.
