The Lehman Animal Shelter and adoption center is a small city run shelter located in Lee County TX. We are an impound facility and have a great reputation for rehabilitating and placing stray and unwanted pets. We have a great program and our return rate is very low.

It is the mission of the Humane Society of Boulder Valley to protect and enhance the lives of companion animals by promoting healthy relationships between pets and people. The Humane Society is a 501(c)3 private, independent, nonprofit corporation governed by a volunteer Board of Directors composed of community members who are dedicated to animal welfare. We are funded primarily through private donations and service revenue. We are not controlled or funded by any statewide or national organization. Donations made to national animal welfare groups do not benefit our local pets. Since its inception in 1902, the Humane Society of Boulder Valley has become one of the most recognized nonprofit organizations in the community and a national leader in animal welfare.
