Sacramento Independent Animal Rescuers is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Our purpose is to aid stray, abandoned, and neglected animals. In addition to animals rescued and adopted by our organization, SIAR is also dedicated to help other independent animal rescuers find their foster animals the loving homes they deserve. To date, over 1100 dogs and cats have been rescued and placed into wonderful homes in the past few years. In order to provide these services, we work with the community shelters, rescue organizations, and individuals who have animals with special needs and place these animals in permanent homes after they reach a stage of wellness.

Willamette Humane Society has been serving animals in the Mid-Willamette Valley since 1965, providing them with a place to live, nutritious food, plenty of love, and exercise until they can be placed in a new, permanent home. Over 12,000 homeless animals come through our door each year, hoping to get a second chance.
Willamette Humane Society is an independent, private, nonprofit corporation supported solely by the generosity of our community's individuals and businesses. Because of this support, the Humane Society provides Marion and Polk counties with many programs and services, including adoptions, cruelty investigations, humane education, referrals, and much more.

We are a family who rescues small to medium dogs, domestic birds, and some small animals. Most rescuers have a breed of choice, ours is the dachshund, but that doesn't mean that's all we will have for adoption. If I have space my door is open to any breed or mix under 25 lbs. Our adoption fees range depending on type of animal and medical treatment needed from $10.00 to 350.00, I spay and neuter, and update shots on any dog shortly after they enter our
rescue. We are no kill, and not about making a profit. To fill out an adoption application please visit:

We are a small group of volunteers in San Angelo, Texas who help out purebred animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, etc) in the state of Texas. Because of our small size we had to have some limitations so we decided to help purebred because we are familiar with the characteristics (temperments, needs) of purebred animals. All the dogs live in a home environment and are crate trained so that they will more easily make the transition into their permanent homes. The primary breeds we help are large breeds- great danes, afghan hounds, greyhounds, Irish Wolfhounds, mastiffs, etc, but always have plenty of room for the smaller animals in needed such as Persians, Scottish Folds, Siamese, etc. We also have bird, rodent, and rabbitry experience, and occassionally will take in an owner release horse whom can't be cared for anymore. All our animals must pass temperment testing before being deemed adoptible!!!
