Darlynn's Darlins Inc is an animal rescue/adoption/sanctuary/advocacy organization operating the largest no euthanasia shelter facility in Central FL. We provide lifetime care and protection for as many hard to adopt species and special needs animals of various species as space and funding will allow. We are currently at capacity and holding a waiting list because of the no euthanasia policy. We have no paid staff and all funding is used strictly for animal care, vetting, and habitat upkeep. Please visit our web site and consider becoming a supporter/sponsor of this important animal advocacy work.

Established in 1990, Fallin’ Pines Critter Rescue is devoted to helping handicapped, displaced or unwanted exotics, farm animals, birds and reptiles. We try to place them into loving, forever homes with our adoption program, however most of the handicapped animals remain at the rescue as life long companions. Fallin’ Pines is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit and relies solely on private donations. All donations to Fallin’ Pines are 100% tax deductible.

First Coast Rabbit Rescue will accept into its protection any rabbit that has been mistreated or abandoned. The organization does not deny shelter because of disability or disease. All rabbits, after being nursed into optimum health by knowledgeable volunteers and when necessary local vets, are spayed and neutered before being placed up for adoption. FCRR volunteers screen all adopting families to ensure these rabbits will be placed in a secure and loving home. First Coast Rabbit Rescue is not a shelter; it is solely reliant upon the efforts of its volunteers. The rabbits do not live in kennels, but in the loving homes of foster families who see to it that the animals are litter box trained, fed and well cared for, with expenses coming more often than not from their own pockets. For these reasons there is a strict policy regarding our acceptance of rabbits. When bunnies run out of time at local animal shelters, FCRR volunteers take those bunnies. FCRR also accepts bunnies that are rescued by individuals who witnessed their abuse. If you wish to dispose of your companion rabbit simply because it has become an inconvenience, FCRR can provide information to help you find a new home for your rabbit. In cases of extreme emergencies and only if a foster family is open to another rabbit, FCRR will accept rabbits from their owners. In such cases the owners are expected to provide the cage, toys, and other items belonging to the rabbit as well as the funds necessary to have the rabbit spayed or neutered if she is not already. The cost is around $200 per bunny. Due to the impact of so many uwanted and homeless bunnies in the Jacksonville/First Coast area we are unable to accept owner relinquish rabbits at this time. Jacksonville Animal Care and Control will be able to accept your rabbit if you cannot find him/her a home however they are a kil facility and due to the recent tragedy of the Jacksonville Humane Society they may not be able to hold your rabbit for a lengthy period of time. If you feel you need to part ways with your pet due to behavior issues, please try www.rabbit.org for tips on how to manage unwanted rabbit behavior.

Our sanctuary is a home for life for animals that would have been put down if we had not taken them in. We accept old, sick, terminaly ill, disabled, ones that need daily medical care, abused, negleted or any reason that would have made them undisireable, and would have no hope except us.
We are a non-profit and only get help from donations. We only accept animals that are requested by authorities for us to take. Example..... Animal control, sheriffs dept, vets, rescue groups, shelters or individuals that have exhausted all other resourses and their animal has no other hope.

We are a Non-Profit 501-C3 organization.Dedicated to giving animals that would other wise be euthanized a for ever home.
We do not accept "adoptable" animals, these need to be in a regular shelter, so as to find there own home and family's. Some of our animals are dying, have diseases, medical problems that require daily medicine and care, handicapped, old and feeble or with behavior problems that make them undesirable as pets.
We are all volunteers, no one is paid. All the donations go directly for the care and comfort of the animals. We appreciate any donations.

To provide lost, abused, or abandoned mixed breed dogs and cats with a new loving home. We believe that "Plain mutt" hounds make the best companions! Experienced people come to a homeless hound rescue for their new pet and leave with a life long friend. I believe that a dog or cat in a family is truly a family. And those moments shared will last forever.

We are a private care facility who takes in surrenders, rescues and guinea Pigs that needs to be rehomed. We also take in rabbits, and the occasional dog or cat in special circumstances, although we are not really set up or funded to do so very often. We operate solely off of our own funds and any donations that may be graciously given to help us in our quest to make sure that all of the guinea pigs in the central Florida area are in good, loving, forever homes.
