TAG Pet Rescue have been rescuing and re-homing stray and abandoned animals since 1988, and always have many cats and sometimes kittens looking for homes. Could you offer one of them the very special home they need? TAG also have lots of guinea pigs, rats and rabbits needing good homes (all buck rabbits are neutered). They also offer reduced rate spaying and neutering for cats and dogs for low income families. More information is on their website, which also contains a detailed section about caring for your pet, ensuring that your pet is a happy pet. TAG operates a non-destruction policy.

Covering the Wirral, Ellesmere Port and Chester areas. Rescuing and rehoming animals for over fifty years, the centre cares for cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, mice, hamsters etc. They averagely rehome over 500 cats each year, so are always pleased to hear from anyone offering a good home. They would also love to hear from anyone willing to volunteer a little time for things like dog walking, gardening, fundraising and caring for the rabbits. Rehoming is carried out at both the Animal Centre in Wallasey, Wirral and Barra Boarding Kennels in Saughall, Chester.

We are only a very small charity and can only do our best with our limited resources and manpower. If we cannot respond to your email or phone call as quickly as you would like please be patient. To assist us, perhaps YOU would like to help us in our rescue work? The more volunteers we have, the more animals we can help quickly. You could offer a temporary home for one of our animals so that we can bring some more in from the cold, or you could make us a very welcome donation however small, to help us pay our huge vets bills? Did you know that HAWS has a non-destruction policy so we always have a large number of elderly animals in permanent care, many of which require regular veterinary attention? Please get in touch
