We are not government funded, but exist through the kind support of many people who make donations and support our ongoing fund raising events. Surrey Shelter BC-SPCAWe area branch of the BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BC SPCA) and serve the Surrey area. In fact, we are one of the busiest shelters in BC! To keep up with demand, we have a dedicated staff and a very active volunteer program. Our goal is to find forever homes for every adoptable animal that comes through our door. Animal Rescue MissionAnimal Rescue Mission of Canada is a "No-Kill" animal shelter as well as an adoption centre. We protects any and all animals in our care from the fear of euthanasia and abuse. With our "No-Kill" policy, we have successfully saved close to 21 000 adoptable animals from being destroyed. Animal Rescue Mission was Founded January 1st 1970 and is one of the oldest "No-Kill" animal shelters in the City of Toronto. In the past two years alone our adoption centre has placed over 1073 innocent pets into loving homes.
