Fauquier SPCAThe Fauquier SPCA was founded in 1957 to offer protection and assistance to the animals of Fauquier County and surrounding areas. The SPCA lived up to its name almost immediately. Barely two weeks after it was organized, the SPCA went to the rescue of some starving livestock, whose owner was subsequently convicted of cruelty to animals. Heart of Michigan Animal RescueThe main purpose of organization promoting the rescue and placement of homeless animals in our local communities and the State of Michigan. We do not currently have an official shelter to house rescued animals and depend on volunteer Pet Foster Care Givers in their residential homes.
