Rolling Rock Rescue & Retirement Inc

We are a non-profit 501(c) horse rescue and retirement located in Beldenville, WI. We are dedicated to providing nurturing and caring homes for any horse who would otherwise have a hard time finding one. It is our goal to make certain that every horse placed in our care is provided with all the necessary ingredients for a safe and happy life and that it never ends up in the auction ring or on the slaughterhouse floor. Many people are under the impression that a rescue horse is a “horse with issues" and/or a throwaway that no one wants. While it is true that there are horses that come to the rescue because of neglect, injury and owner fears, there are a number that still have much more to give and many years of love and companionship to offer to new owners. Some of the people who have donated their horses to the rescue are doing so hoping for such an owner for their horse. They are donated because the children have grown and no one rides the horse anymore; the horse was injured and is still a loving companion but they cannot afford to keep a horse they cannot use; they are moving and cannot take the horse with them -- there are many reasons why a horse ends up at a rescue. As a non-profit organization, we are dependent on the kindness of others and rely on donations. Even the smallest donation can help and all donations are tax deductible. Please take a minute and consider giving something back to those horses that have been our working partners, greatest athletes and constant companions.

Midwest Horse Welfare Foundation

Many people email us confused or mistaken about what our program is all about. Many people come here looking for a horse that they can breed, along with many other questions about our program. We would like to let everyone know why we are here and what we are all about. M.H.W.F. Inc. is a charity and non-profit organization dedicated to finding homes for horses who would otherwise have a hard time finding a good home. That is our only purpose. We are not horse dealers or traders and are not a market for backyard breeders. Everyone involved in our program is a volunteer and 100% of all donations and adoption fees go back into the care of another needy horse. The horses that come to us come for many reasons and each horse has it's own story. They all have one thing in common, they need a loving and caring home. Our rules and policies are the accumulation of years of experience and planning. We are looking for good people with big hearts willing to share their lives with a horse who needs their help. For the folks who understand this, we greatly appreciate the help and support you have shown. If you are new to MHWF, then please read our Placement Agreement which is contained in our Application

MIDWEST FARM ANIMAL RESCUE

We do not have any paid staff, no corporate jets, Swiss bank accounts or luxury condos in foreign lands. The animals are rescued and cared for daily, by volunteers. The costs we have are specialty feeds, vet expenses, hay, straw, woodshavings, and farm supplies like water heaters, tanks, garden hoses, electric cords... nothing too fancy. What what we have seen over the last few months, is an influx of calls from people who can no longer afford to feed their animals

Animal Rescue and Farm Sanctuary

Animal Rescue and Farm Sanctuary serves as an adoption facility for barnyard animals of all kinds. Horses, Cattle, Potbellied Pigs, Goats, Sheep and others species in need of finding a new home. We believe in rescue and relocation, networking with other shelters and strive to find caring individuals that have a genuine interest in specialty barnyard pets. We accept surrendered animals as long as the prior owner understands that their pet will be placed in a new home. We do not believe in holding on to a large number of animals when there are wonderful families waiting on our list for a chance to have a hobby farm pet of their own

Wisconsin German Shepherd Rescue

We were the first and only rescue for German Shepherds in the state at that time. Our mission was to help abused, neglected, and/or abandoned German Shepherds to find a new home for the rest of their life. Eventually, we started taking in birds and farm animals also. To date, WGSR has placed over 1000 loving pets in new homes.
