This organization was founded with support from the general public as a result of concern for the future existence of these horses, and the determination to preserve a culturally important and historically significant asset, in genetically viable numbers.

The FLSS School Horse Retirement Program, established in 2003, has been established as a means to find suitable new homes for horses retiring from the Lord Stirling Stable lesson program. The program will ensure that our retiring horses, which have worked so faithfully for us, continue to be loved and well cared for even with their limitations. The Program will maintain a fund to be used to cover costs of board and care for retiring horses until a suitable home can be found. This program will help to ensure a bright future for our school horses.

Fur Ever Sanctuary, Inc.
We are a Non-Profit 501-C3 organization.Dedicated to giving animals that would other wise be euthanized a for ever home.
We do not accept "adoptable" animals, these need to be in a regular shelter, so as to find there own home and family's. Some of our animals are dying, have diseases, medical problems that require daily medicine and care, handicapped, old and feeble or with behavior problems that make them undesirable as pets.
We are all volunteers, no one is paid. All the donations go directly for the care and comfort of the animals. We appreciate any donations.

Fur Keeps Animal rescue, Inc. has benefited needy animals since 1999. To date, Fur Keeps has rescued hundreds of animals primarily horses, cats, and dogs that have been rescued from kill shelters or bad situations then the animal is rehabilitated and placed into loving forever homes. We are licensed with the Illinois Department of Agriculture and are not-for-profit 5013C.
Our mission is to promote respect and compassion for all animals as partners in the human existence. We believe in the Triangle of Care: education for responsible ownership, balanced healthcare for our animals, well rounded training for both handlers and companions, the rescue and the rehabiliation of unwanted animals along with the prevention of animal cruelty.

Godfrey Rescue was created in 2006 by Glen and Wanda Brink. We are a No-Kill rescue are main goal is to help save the over populated homeless animals in shelters around OH. We rescue all breeds of dogs along with other animals that are in need of being saved from getting euthanized. We also take in owner surrenders along with animals that have been abused or neglected in anyways.
Once we rescue an animal we temperament test them along with making sure they are in good health. All our animals are Health screened and are UTD on their shots and wormed. Most of our animals have been altered before they go to their forever homes. If they haven’t been altered prior to adoption, you HAVE to sign a contract agreeing to do so in a timely manner, which will be stated in the contract. If for whatever reason you do not get the animal altered within the time we will then take proper procedures and regain ownership of the animal.
Once one of our animals has been placed in their forever home we feel that we have accomplished our goal. However if you can not keep the animal for whatever reason you MUST return the animal back to our rescue.
Please keep in mind, that by adopting one of the animals in our rescue you have not only helped that animal get a new home, but you made it possible to make room for the next animal to be saved from being euthanized.
Please spay and neuter your pets. It is the only way we can prevent the mass euthanasia of homeless animals. For every puppy/kitten that is born, it is one less animal that will be adopted from a shelter. Look at our Pet List. Many of the animals listed were abandoned by their owners. When you own an animal, it is a lifetime commitment. Cherish them. No human will ever love you more. Your Fur-Friend will get you through the good and the bad times just by giving back all the love you give them.
