Godmanchester shelter (HQ) (King's Bush Farm)Registered Charity no. 298348 Wood Green Animal Shelters are a charitable organisation that take in and rehome over 6,000 animals a year. In addition to dogs and cats the Shelter also cares for small animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs and field animals including horses and sheep. Bleakholt Animal SanctuaryBleakholt Animal Sanctuary is a 45 acre farm in the Pennine foothills above the Rossendale valley in Ramsbottom. This sanctuary is the only one of its kind in the North of England. REDGATE FARM ANIMAL SANCTUARYFounded in 1986, the sanctuary has helped a huge variety of sick and homeless animals over the years, finding new caring homes for some of them to go to, and becoming a permanent home to many others who cannot be rehomed.
