Pleasant Valley Heritage Farm

We are a not for profit shelter for abused and unwanted farm animals. We attempt to find suitable homes for unwanted and abused farm animals, and keep the ones we can not place at the farm. Animals with suitable personalities are used in our Pet therapy program which is one of our many outreach programs. We also participate in humane education opportunties in our surrounding communities and local schools. We operate a literacy program in our rural schools using the many bunnies in our care to help the children to relax, and give them "someone nonjudgemental" to read to

The centre was incorporated in Sept.2001 as a non profit charitable organization, and is run by a board of directors along with an executive director. Our mission is to take in abused, neglected and unwanted horses and ponies.We will rehabilitate these animals and place them in loving adoptive homes.

I am dedicated to the rescue, protection, and rehabilitation of unwanted, neglected and abused donkeys, mules and hinnies. We have rescued and placed into loving homes over 130 horses. As a group we are compelled to save as many horses as possible and give them the “happy endings� they deserve.
