ferret lover turned activist/enthusiast. We are fairly new to the process, as we began odopting in early 1999. To date more than 60 ferrets have come to find a home at Wayward Weasels. Some of them harbored medical conditions requiring extensive (and expensive) treatment, but are all happy and healthy now. My goal is to make it known to all that ferrets shouldn't be locked away in cages or treated like Christmas toys
