Supplies for your new Dog
Welcome to Grand Saline Adoption and Rescue Center. Opened on March 7, 2005, GSARC has a very limited staff of city employees and volunteers, and an overabundance of animals in need. We are just beginning our journey helping animals in the county, so please bear with us.

TAILS is a small 2 person rescue group; however, we have wonderful friends that help us with Adoption Clinics, medicate dogs, bathe dogs, or anything we may need. We basically handle dogs and puppies that are dumped at our doorsteps and occasionally a cat may appear. We live in Van Zandt County and have no alternative except kill shelters. Our local Humane Society is always full so we try to place these abandoned defenseless animals in loving forever homes.

The Van Zandt County Humane Society's funding consists solely of membership fees, adoption fees, personal contributions, and various fund-raising activities. Our membership includes individuals who provide foster homes for the animals until adoption. The VZCHS will continually demonstrate its commitment to the principles of humane care and professional treatment for all injured, ill, stray, or unwanted animals.--
