We take in dogs who have been abandoned, sick or injured, most of which come from high kill shelters. We also take in dogs whose owners no longer want them. We are a small group and work strictly on a volunteer basis but we all have one thing in common . . . . . we love dogs!

Shaggy Dog Rescue of Ohio

Shaggy Dog Rescue of Ohio was formed to help the dogs on death row at our local pounds. Some of our dogs were scheduled to be put to sleep within a few hours had we not rescued them. Adopting a dog from SDRO will free up a foster home so we can save more dogs.
