GRRR was formed in mid 2003 by a group of caring individuals, bound by a deep love and admiration for the breed, in response to the large number of homeless and abandoned Golden Retriever Dogs in the NW Ohio area. GRRR was incorporated in the state of Ohio in 2003, and granted official 501c(3) status in 2003. The purposes for which the Corporation was organized and to be operated are charitable and/or educational.

NW Ohio Siberian Rescue is a nonprofit volunteer organization formed to help save and re-home Siberian Huskies that might otherwise not have a chance. These dogs are often rescued within days of being put down at pounds or overcrowded shelters. Our goals are to place these dogs in loving homes and to educate people about the characteristics and traits of this wonderful breed. The Siberian Husky is not the breed for everyone. Please be sure to read as much as you can about this breed before deciding to adopt. If you have the time and patience for a husky, you will have a friend for life
