Since its humble beginnings in a citizen’s backyard, the Society has been promoting responsible pet ownership, compassion for all living things and a commitment to be involved and make a difference. In 1971, our present facility opened on Provincial Road and remains one of the largest animal shelters in South Western Ontario.
