Beagle PawsBeagle Paws was the vision of founder Sheila Lewis, in 2002 she made it her mission to bring awareness of the plight of Beagles in the province of Newfoundland. Her promotion of the Beagle as "More than just hunting dogs, they are pets too !" attracted a lot of attention. Other passionate Beagle lovers came forward with offers to help.
