AVALON ANIMAL RESCUEAvalon Animal Rescue are proud to announce that we began a Dog Grooming Project in 2004. This was made possible through a generous grant from the Athens Foundation. We were able to purchase professional grooming equipment as well as pay a professional groomer to come into the facility and teach the class. This project will provide the inmates with another set of job skills that can be used on the outside, while improving the quality of care for the Avalon dogs in their care. This project is open to any offender currently participating in any of the three dog programs.
