Almost Home Animal Rescue LeagueAlmost Home Animal Rescue League is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to finding loving forever homes for homeless animals. We are strongly against the senseless act of euthanasia of adoptable animals and are continuously striving to make euthanasia a thing of the past. We are made up of a group of dedicated volunteers, without them, Almost Home Animal Rescue League would not exist. We have no paid staff. The Almost Home Animal Haven of Southfield is a "REAL" no-kill shelter. A place where frightened animals need not be frightened. Where animal's with special needs are not discriminated against. A place that radiates warmth and love to all animals whether they are young or old, sick or healthy, maimed or beautiful. A place to feel safe and "BE" safe. We rely solely on the generosity of animal lovers like you. Your donation could mean the difference between the life and death of an animal. We do not receive any government funding or tax support. We operate entirely on donations and every penny goes directly to the animals. Almost Home Animal Haven of Southfield The shelter is open for adoptions every Wednesday from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. and every Saturday from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. at 25503 Clara Lane in Southfield, Michigan, near Telegraph and 11 Mile off Franklin Rd. by the I-696 overpass. Almost Home Animal Rescue League We also have an adoption event every other Saturday at Premier Pet Supply, 31215 Southfield Road, Beverly Hills, Michigan. AnimaiAdoption2non profit no kill. This rescue is made of Volunteers/Foster homes. Small group- only 4 foster homes(need more). We love animals, and have our own too. We are huge animal lovers, who want to help animals. Vet care is provided on the animals. Who do Adoptions by Appointment only. We some times go to the pet stores during the week with cats for Adoption. Animal Aid of SW MichiganAbout 20 years ago, a small group of dedicated volunteers got tired of hearing how "someone should do something" about injured, abused, and neglected animals in their area, so they banded together to be that "someone." Animal Aid was born. It isn't easy going out at midnight to pick up a stray dog who's been hit by a car, or trying to rescue a homeless cat with a new litter of kittens from an abandoned house, but these volunteers do it week after week, year after year.
