Harbor Humane Society's mission is to provide a safe harbor for animals entrusted to our care as we strive to secure their future through our outreach and educational programs.
We have been helping people help animals since 1956. By increasing the literacy of the humane treatment of animals, promoting responsible pet ownership and serving as a care facility for lost and unwanted pets, Harbor Humane Society helps to ensure that people and animals make a connection. A lasting one.

Trenton/Woodhaven Animal Shelter is the only shelter in the cities of Trenton and Woodhaven, controlled by our control officers Becky and Laura. The shelter relies greatly on donations from generous people in the local communities. A new shelter was recently built to accomodate the homeless animals of Trenton and Woodhaven. The support of both of these communities, as well as others, has been greatly appreciated throughout the building process.
